Thank you so much! I’ve recently been drawn back into poetry by the incredible poets on here, and I find verse is a powerful way to metabolise some stuff. Really appreciate you reading. 💜
I agree. I have been using verse as a conduit to my healing. Therapy and poetry are a powerful combo. Highly recommend, haha. Looking forward to reading your other work. This was a great introduction!
I've just started reading some of your work... so far I really love the one about shame... ooof. Writing in general is excellent therapy, but I love how verse makes me go into a different flow state from writing fiction... almost like meditation (which I can't do because I need to be doing something!).
Thank you! I also find that poetry is a bit of a flow state. Like I just go and suddenly I am done and there is pretty much a fully finished form on the page. It also helps to work through whatever is floating in my brain (which is always EVERYTHING all at once).
Yes, thank you! They absolutely deserve this… only they won’t read it 😂 but that’s ok. I am telling myself that it absolutely does not matter that they dont read it, that its just for me, etc.
Thank you! I found that the lessons you gave us in creating poetry shook something loose… something long-dormant, and now verse is starting to push its way forward — especially when I want to communicate something that I just can’t craft in prose.
This one wasnt going to work in a narrative, lest it turn into a Ted talk on feminism! 😂
Just f-- breathtaking. Floored. floored. floored. I don't even know how to breath anymore.
Thank so much, Vonnie. Felt a bit raw to put it out there, but, ya know, rage has it’s way of bursting out!
Whoa. Brilliance!

I love this! The rage practically boils the page 💕
So. Much. Rage.
😂
I definitely feel it too, maybe feminine rage is what the world needs 😅
It’s how/where to point it, that’s what I struggle with. So I thought, huh, poetry. This way, I’m not getting yelled at. 😂
😡 if someone's yelling at you, they absolutely deserve the rage.
Though, we wouldn't have this poem if you did that, so it's a hard decision 😂

…but I really wish they would.
Oh honey 😞 I'm so sorry..
This is brilliant! Your rage is beautiful 😍🙌🏻
I’m glad it can be used for something! 😂
Oh it's always useful in my humble opinion 😉
Holy YESSSSSS! this is flipping amazing. Your muse is .... phenomenal ‼️
This was beautiful.
Thanks, Cat. 💜
I love this. So so good!
Thanks, Hallie!
Wow! Bravo!
Thank you, Gregory! This one felt a bit like peeling skin off, 😂 honestly, so I really appreciate that response.

aye, it has power in poetry a Ted talk might not convey 😁✨🦋
